EVFTA Tariff Preferences
Under the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), qualifying Vietnamese-origin goods may receive preferential tariffs. When the selected product, origin rules, and destination qualify, ANV coordinates the applicable EUR.1 Certificate of Origin or other accepted origin evidence for the contracted shipment.
EU Compliance Requirements
The applicable technical controls are confirmed for the selected product and destination:
- Pesticide Residues (MRLs): Independent laboratory testing (including GC-MS/LC-MS where specified) is arranged according to the product, batch, destination-market requirements, and agreed contract or test plan.
- Sulphite Controls: For soft dried fruits, applicable sulphite levels are controlled and declared against the specification and destination-market requirements.
- Food Labeling (LMIV): Labels are prepared for the agreed product and destination scope, including applicable allergen, nutrition, and responsible-operator information under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011.

Most European retail buyers require BRCGS or IFS certification. Original certificates are supplied per product and factory scope.

What is the typical shipping time to European seaports?
An indicative port-to-port range from Cat Lai to Rotterdam, Hamburg, or Antwerp is approximately 28 to 35 days. This is not guaranteed and is confirmed per route, carrier schedule, season, shipment, and customs conditions.
